FreeRoam.net was going to be a brand new MMORPG, but its name was changed and this domain is now used to aid another MMORPG. Allegiance is a great free to play space MMO game.

FreeRoam.net is a site dedicated to financially helping and promoting Allegiance. Allegiance is a completely free space mmo located at FreeAllegiance.org. FreeRoam.net relies on user collaboration and effort on its forum. We're also teaming up with two larger companies EZhost.org and GameFeed.co.uk to meet these goals.

It doesn't cost anyone who takes part anything, other than a little bit of their time.

Donate Towards Current Costs
Allegiance currently asks for a donation of $120/month towards server expenses which is nearly always never met. FreeRoam.net hopes to change that, we have partnered up with Ezhost.org who will be donating 10p ($0.16) per person who is signed up for their budget hosting package per month, and 50p ($0.78) if they're on unlimited per MONTH. Currently only two people are signed up for hosting packages with them on budget, but we're hoping that will all change.

Launch Advertising Campaigns
Some of the members of FreeRoam.net are seasoned promoters and will use sites such as ProjectWonderful.com to launch advertising campaigns and the funds made from this website to pay towards advertising campaigns.

Group Co-Ordinated Campaigns
We'll be using our forums to organize people to vote daily for Allegiance on various MMO TopSites and other group events including Facebook pages, forum signatures and tweets. This kind of community driven traffic can work wonders.

Creating and Sustaining a Forum
As mentioned above, one of our goals is to create a forum with the sole interest of keeping Allegiance alive and this is what discussion will be about. Here we will co-ordinate group events, develop software and other events in the interest of Allegiance.

Hosting the Game Client
My personal experience of downloading the game client was slow, so we've partnered with GameFeed.co.uk to provide users (probably more European ones) a quicker download. GameFeed.co.uk usually needs advertising on their pages, but unless we can get those at FreeAllegiance.org to agree with it we'll talk our way out of it.
